Frequently Asked Questions (and some not asked):

Do I need experience?
No. Experience is absolutely NOT necessary. A willingness to learn and an honest effort go a long way.

Why have I not been contacted?
Most likely we are still waiting for some sample photos from you.  When you fill out the form, and check all options, then email in only the base required photos (and not the additional photos for the additional styles, as requested on the Thank You page), you quite possibly won't hear from us until your application is complete.  Sometimes we will send a follow up email requesting the additional photos, but don't count on it.

Why do I have to send in Topless and/or Nude sample photos?
We are counting on the applicants reading the descriptions and selecting only the styles they are COMFORTABLE with.  Secondly, we request those sample images, from those that check those styles on the Application, so we see what we will be working with, and also you proving you are comfortable with that style by submitting those sample photos.

I am only comfortable with the Implied Style.  Do I have to send in Topless or Nude sample photos?
Absolutely not.  We need sample images of the styles of photos you select on the Application.  If you are not comfortable shooting Topless or Nude, then DON'T check those options on the Application!

Do I need to have professional photos to submit as samples?
Definitely NOT! The sample photos are just for our reference to know what we are working with for the style of images you chose on your application. Either shoot the photos in the mirror or have a friend shoot them on a digital camera at home. Doesn't have to be fancy at all. You earn more brownie points getting the photos in faster, rather than wasting a lot of time trying to get a more "professional" type shot. We'll get those better shots when we do our photo shoot! :-)

I'm having trouble emailing in sample images. What do I do?
You can now upload up to 6 images via the right side of the Model Application.

Where are the photos going to be posted?
For the Implied style photos, the normal destination will be the WahineStyle.com website (currently under construction and getting a little bit of a new look). As soon as I get through this casting process, it will get more of my attention. For the Topless/Nude photos, we are working on a new website which we hope will be able to start earning some income, and in turn, helping to support the models we work with in getting paid for the shoots.
